A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Architectural Review Board, for 3 -year
terms expiring May 31, 2010:
Janie Anderson Craven
Historic Business Zone District
(District Tenants /Property Owners)
Jerry Pacheco
HARP Two Zone District
(Tenants or Property Owners)

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW BOARD
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint members to the Architectural Review Board to serve 3 -year terms
expiring May 31, 2010?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Resolution and appoint two members to the Architectural Review Board.
BACKGROUND
There are two vacancies that will exist on this board due to term expirations on May 31, 2007.
FIRST APPOINTMENT: Historic Business Zone District
Incumbent Janie Anderson Craven, who currently serves as the representative for the Historic
Business Zone District (District Tenants /Property Owners) has stated she WOULD LIKE to be
considered for reappointment to this board. Janie was appointed to this Board in 1993.
Following an ad published in the Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, April 29, 2007 seeking District
Tenants or Property Owners of the Historic Business Zone District to serve on this board, no
other qualified (District Tenant or Property Owner) individuals submitted an application for
appointment.
SECOND APPOINTMENT: HARP Two Zone District
Due to the retirement of Jim Munch, who served as the City's representative for the HARP Two
Zone District, Administration would like to replace Mr. Munch with Jerry Pacheco, Interim
Assistant City Manager for Community Development to serve as the City's Representative for
the HARP Two Zone District (Tenant or Property Owner). In the future, when there are more
tenants and /or property owners, appointments for this position shall be made from the tenants
or property owners from the HARP Two Zone District.
