BACKGROUND
The Pueblo Memorial Airport is guaranteed $150,000 in entitlement funds from the US-
DOT FAA each year. In 2006, the Airport needed additional funds to improve the
Runway 35 safety area by relocating a portion of William White Boulevard. The FAA
determined that the City of Fort Morgan had not used their 2006 entitlements and asked
them to transfer their entitlements to Pueblo, which they did. Now the City of Fort
Morgan is in need of additional funding and, therefore, the FAA has requested that the
City of Pueblo transfer its 2007 entitlements to Fort Morgan.
