A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO LLOYD HALL ROOFING OF
PUEBLO IN THE AMOUNT OF $8,150 AND SETTING FORTH $800 FOR CONTINGENCIES AND
ADDITIONAL WORK TO REMOVE & REPLACE THE ROOF OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT
MUSEUM AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE SAME
WHEREAS, informal bids to REMOVE & REPLACE THE ROOF ON THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT MUSEUM have been received and examined, and;
WHEREAS, the proposal of LLOYD HALL ROOFING of Pueblo,
Colorado was the lowest of those bids determined to be responsible;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
A contract to REMOVE & REPLACE THE ROOF ON THE FIRE DEPARTMENT MUSEUM
be, and the same is hereby awarded to said bidder in the amount of $8,150.
SECTION 2.
The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of Pueblo, A
Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto and attest the
same.
SECTION 3.
In addition to the amount of the bid set forth, as aforementioned, an additional amount as
stipulated in this section is hereby established for contingencies and additional work.
Contingencies and Additional Work .... $800.00
SECTION 4.
Funds for said project shall be from Project Codes CP0605.

ISSUE
Should City Council approve a resolution awarding a construction contract to Lloyd Hall
Roofing of Pueblo to remove and replace the roofing on the Fire Department Museum.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution.
BACKGROUND
The roof on the Fire Department Museum is old, of indeterminant age, and has leaked for
quite a while causing damage in many areas of the building. A new roof is needed to
protect the integrity of the structure.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds for this project will be paid from Project Number CP0605.
