The transfer of $4,167.48 from the Contingencies Account in the 2007 General Fund budget to the Out of Cycle Requests Fund is hereby approved. SECTION 2. Said funds shall be dispersed from the Out of Cycle Requests Fund to fund the need assessment and conceptual design of the new City- County Health Department. City and County staff recommended that a conceptual floor design and cost estimate of this project be completed for public consumption in order for the citizens of Pueblo County to better understand the nature and scope of this endeavor. An amount of $7,000 was allocated for this project by Resolution 10761 that was passed by the Council on June 26, 2006. Subsequently, additional costs associated with this analysis were incurred, and $4,167.98 is needed to compensate the architectural company. The total cost of the project was $22,335.96, with the City and County sharing half of the cost ($11,167.98). RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds in the amount of $4,167.98 will be transferred from the Contingencies Account in the 2007 General Fund Budget (see attached spreadsheet for the balance in the Contingencies Account).
