A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $4,167.98 FROM THE
CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2007 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE
OUT OF CYCLE REQUESTS TO FUND THE NEED ASSESSMENT AND
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN OF THE NEW CITY - COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
ISSUE
The City and County are building a new City - County Health Department. City and
County staff recommended that a conceptual floor design and cost estimate of this project
be completed for public consumption in order for the citizens of Pueblo County to better
understand the nature and scope of this endeavor. An amount of $7,000 was allocated for
this project by Resolution 10761 that was passed by the Council on June 26, 2006.
Subsequently, additional costs associated with this analysis were incurred, and $4,167.98
is needed to compensate the architectural company. The total cost of the project was
$22,335.96, with the City and County sharing half of the cost ($11,167.98).
