COLORADO. that: The following individuals are hereby appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission to serve the 4 -year term expiring January 1, 2011: Kerrelyn Trent Gary L. Trujillo Tanya R. Jones BY Randy Thurston Councilperson APPROVED: a President of Cit Council ATTESTED BY: CITY CLERK INTRODUCED January 8, 2007 Background Paper for Proposed RESOLUTION AGENDA ITEM # DATE: JANUARY 8, 2007 DEPARTMENT: CITY CLERK GINA DUTCHER, CMC TITLE A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION ISSUE Should City Council appoint three members to the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) to serve the 4 -year term expiring January 1, 2011? RECOMMENDATION Approval of Resolution Due to term expirations on January 1, 2007, three (3) vacancies will exist on the Historic Preservation Commission. Incumbents Kerrelyn M. Trent and Gary L. Trujillo have both indicated they WOULD like to be considered for reappointment and their questionnaires are attached. Ms. Trent was first appointed to this committee in 2004 and Mr. Trujillo was appointed in 2003- At this time, Incumbent Richard Cherry does NOT want to be considered for reappointment. Following an ad published in the Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, December 3, 2006, seeking volunteers to serve on this committee the following applications were received: NEW APPLICANTS: Weston Charles Burrer Sue Cisneros Carter Kerrelyn M.
