A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF A TENNIS ADVISORY AND
PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR THE CITY OF PUEBLO
BACKGROUND
It has been suggested by Council Member Aguilera that a tennis advisory and planning
committee be formed to evaluate, promote, and recommend recreational tennis
programs and activities for the City of Pueblo's Parks and Recreation Department. The
Committee will consist of five members from the community and will serve a one -year
term without compensation. These open committee positions will be advertised in the
Pueblo Chieftain, and the City Council will appoint the committee from those individuals
who apply. Appointed committee members will be required to meet with the tennis
public as needed to solicit input and prioritize the recreational tennis needs of the City.
Resolution is at the recommendation of Council Member Aguilera.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
