A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $12,500 FROM THE CONTINGENCIES
ACCOUNT IN THE 2006 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO BE DISBURSED TO THE PUBLIC
BUILDINGS 2006 DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET TO FUND THE REPAIR AND REFURBISHING OF
THE POLICE BUILDING ROOF
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The transfer of $12,500 from the Contingencies Account in the 2006 General Fund budget
to the Public Buildings 2006 Departmental Budget is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
Said funds shall be disbursed from the Public Buildings 2006 Departmental Budget to fund
the repair and refurbishing of the police building roof.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $12,500 FROM THE
CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2006 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO BE
DISBURSED TO THE PUBLIC BUILDINGS 2006 DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET TO
FUND THE REPAIR AND REFURBISHING OF THE POLICE BUILDING ROOF
ISSUE
The Police building roof is in need of repair immediately. There are substantial leaks of
moisture permeating into the building that is disrupting work production and damaging
computer equipment and other property in the building. The City has received bids for
this repair project in the range of $12,527 to $22,000, and it has been determined that
the low bid ($12,500) would suffice for the necessary repairs to the roof until the new
police building is ready for occupation.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $12,500 will be transferred from the Contingencies Account in
the 2006 General Fund Budget (see attached spreadsheet for the balance in the
contingencies account).
