ALEXANDER, TO THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR A TWO -YEAR TERM EXPIRING IN OCTOBER OF 2008 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. William D. Alexander is hereby appointed as the Municipal Judge of the Pueblo Municipal Court for a term of two years from October 27, 2006, to October 26, 2008, and is hereby designated as the presiding judge of the Municipal Court. He shall act as Municipal Court Administrator and shall supervise all Municipal Court personnel. He shall receive compensation determined and fixed by the City Council. SECTION 2. The Resolution shall become effective upon final passage. ALEXANDER, TO THE MUNICIPAL COURT FOR A TWO -YEAR TERM EXPIRING IN OCTOBER OF 2008 ISSUE The City Council, as stipulated by the City Charter, is authorized to appoint municipal judges for terms of two years. The term of the presiding judge, William D. Alexander, expires October 27, 2006, and he has requested reappointment for another two -year term as municipal judge for the City of Pueblo. RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution. FINANCIAL IMPACT The presiding judge will receive a salary and related benefits as determined and fixed by the City Council. These amounts will be incorporated into the 2007 budget.
