HomeMy WebLinkAbout10795RESOLUTION NO. 10795 A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO R BUCK HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,842.82 FOR THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF CITY HALL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE SAME WHEREAS, proposals for the removal and replacement of City Hall air conditioning units have been received and examined, and; WHEREAS, the proposal of R BUCK HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC., of Pueblo, Colorado was the lowest of those bids determined to be responsible; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A contract for for the removal and replacement of City Hall air conditioning units is hereby awarded to said bidder in the amount of $13,842.83. SECTION 2. The Purchasing Agent is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of Pueblo, A Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto and attest the same. SECTION 3. Funds for said project shall be from Project No. CP0605. TITLE A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO R BUCK HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,842.83 FOR THE REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF CITY HALL AIR CONDITIONING UNITS AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO EXECUTE THE SAME ISSUE Should City Council approve a resolution awarding a construction contract to R Buck Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., for the removal and replacement of air conditioning units at City Hall. RECOMMENDATION Approval of this Resolution. BACKGROUND This Resolution will approve a contract with R Buck Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., to install new air conditioning units in the Sales Tax office and the City Clerk's office of City Hall to replace existing units that are more than 20 years old and are unreliable. A copy of the bid summary is attached. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds for this project will be paid from Project No. CP0605.
