A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO, A
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, AND ABEL ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS, INC., FOR THE
PREPARATION OF THE SUBDIVISION PLAT, RESUBDIVIDING LOT 2 AND A PORTION OF
PARCEL W ADJACENT THEREOF TO THE HISTORIC ARKANSAS RIVERWALK OF PUEBLO
PROJECT, FILING ONE, AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO
EXECUTE SAME
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
An Agreement dated February 27, 2006, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, after having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, by and between Pueblo, a
Municipal Corporation, and Abel Engineering Professionals, Inc., is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
Funds in the amount of $3,000 for this project will be provided from Project No. ED0507.
SECTION 3.
The President of the City Council is hereby authorized to execute the said Agreement on
behalf of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto
and attest the same.

Should City Council approve an agreement for Professional Services with Abel
Engineering Professionals, Inc. for preparing the survey for re- subdividing Lot 2 and
Parcel 'A' relating to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo?
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the Resolution
BACKGROUND
The City solicited Proposals to provide surveying services for preparing a subdivision
plat that will re- subdivide Lot 2 and Parcel 'A' of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of
Pueblo Project, Filing One. The re- subdivision is needed in order to allow the
construction of a more efficient building layout on Lot 2 in conjunction with the City's
parking garage structure on the adjacent property, which is Parcel W. The
configuration of the building will be slightly different than the existing Lot 2, but will
remain near the same square footage that was platted. The new layout of Lot 2 will
allow the building and the parking garage structure to share a common property line.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The funds in the amount of $3,000 will be paid from Project No. ED0507
