A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $1,200 FROM THE CONTINGENCIES
ACCOUNT IN THE 2006 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE OUT OF CYCLE REQUESTS TO
FUND THE 2006 ANNUAL LATINO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE DINNER DANCE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The transfer of $1,200 from the Contingencies Account in the 2006 General Fund budget to
the Out of Cycle Requests Fund is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
Said funds shall be dispersed from the Out of Cycle Requests Fund to fund the 27 Annual
Latino Chamber of Commerce Dinner Dance.

ISSUE
Since the year 2000, the City of Pueblo has been a sponsor of the Pueblo Latino
Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Dance. The Latino Chamber has requested
$1,200 from the City for this event that will be held on February 25, 2006 at the Pueblo
Convention Center. With this sponsorship, the City of Pueblo will receive media
recognition as a Gift Sponsor, four tickets to the event and a banner to be placed at the
event. The City was a 2005 Gift Sponsor for the same amount of funds, as well.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of the Resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $1,200 will be transferred from the Contingencies Account in the
2006 General Fund Budget (see attached spreadsheet for the balance in the
contingencies account).
