HomeMy WebLinkAbout10505RESOLUTION NO. 10505 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $4,000 FROM THE CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2005 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE OUT OF CYCLE REQUESTS TO FUND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES TO ANALYZE THE NEED ASSESSMENTS FOR A NEW CITY - COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The transfer of $4,000 from the Contingencies Account in the 2005 General Fund budget to the Out of Cycle Requests Fund is hereby approved. SECTION 2. Said funds shall be dispersed from the Out of Cycle Requests Fund to fund architectural services to analyze the design and construction of a new City- County Health Department. The total cost for hiring an architectural firm to study this proposal is $8,000 with the City and County each contributing 50% of the funding. The firm of R.T.A. Architects has submitted a proposal for these services and is ready to proceed with this scope of work when approved and notified to do so. The Scope of Services includes: (1) Information Gathering, (2) Analysis, and (3) Needs Assessment. With this coordinated effort, it is the goal of the City and County to have a ballot measure ready for the 2006 election cycle. RECOMMENDATION Resolution has been submitted at the request of Councilman Chostner. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds in the amount of $4,000 will be transferred from the Contingencies Account in the 2005 General Fund Budget (see attached spreadsheet for the balance in the contingencies account).
