A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $25,000 FROM THE
CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2005 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE OUT
OF CYCLE REQUESTS TO FUND A STUDY TOWARD ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
AT THE PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT
T *TIL
The Pueblo Municipal Airport Advisory Committee is seeking funding for a study to
analyze what type of industries and businesses are suitable for the Airport Industrial
Park. This study will enable members of the Advisory Committee to know and approach
companies that would be viable candidates for recruitment to the Industrial Park at the
National Business and Aircraft Association Convention to be held this fall in New
Orleans. The study is to help the Pueblo Community attract aviation related businesses
and primary jobs to the airport. The Airport Advisory Committee is asking the City and
the County for a $50,000 contribution. The City and the County will split the cost of this
project each contributing 50% to the total amount requested.
RECOMMENDATION
Resolution to be approved.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $25,000 will be transferred from the Contingencies Account in
