A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER WALKAWAY LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF PUEBLO AND ENTERPRISE FLEET SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE
PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, officers from the Pueblo Police Department assigned to the DEA (Drug
Enforcement Administration) Task Force are in need of vehicles to perform their tasks, and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement authorizing such vehicles is in the best interest of the
officers involved, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The Master Walkaway Lease Agreement between the City of Pueblo and Enterprise Fleet
Services, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby approved and the President of the City
Council is authorized to execute same in the name of the City.
SECTION 2
The Drug Enforcement Administration will pay the monthly lease payment.

TITLE
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A MASTER WALKAWAY LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF PUEBLO AND ENTERPRISE FLEET SERVICES AND
AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME
ISSUE
To allow the City of Pueblo to enter into a lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet
Services for motor vehicles.
RECOMMENDATION
The department recommends approval of this resolution.
BACKGROUND
The police department has officers assigned to the Drug Enforcement
Administration Task Force who are in need of vehicles. This lease agreement
will provide them with vehicles, thus allowing them to perform their duties to rid
our nation of illegal drugs. This lease will be for four vehicles and the period of
the lease will be six - months.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact to the City, as the Drug Enforcement Administration
will pay the lease payments in the amount of $13,000.00 for the 6 -month period.
