A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO MAKE, EXECUTE
AND DELIVER IN THE NAME OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO, FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2005
CERTIFICATIONS AND ASSURANCES FOR FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE AND TO BIND THE CITY OF PUEBLO'S COMPLIANCE THEREWITH
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The President of City Council is authorized to make, execute and deliver in the name of the
City of Pueblo, Federal Fiscal Year 2005 Certifications and Assurances for Federal Transit
Administration financial assistance which are attached hereto and to bind the City of Pueblo's
compliance therewith.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall become effective immediately upon final passage and approval.

ISSUE
Should City Council authorize the President of City Council to make, execute and
deliver in the name of the City of Pueblo, Federal Fiscal Year 2005 certifications
and assurances for Federal Transit Administration financial assistance and to
bind the City of Pueblo's compliance therewith.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of Resolution.
BACKGROUND
FTA's comprehensive compilation of the Federal Fiscal Year 2005 certifications
and assurances must be approved and binding on the City for all Federal
assistance programs FTA administers during Federal Fiscal year 2005, as
required by 49 U.S.C. 5323(n).
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Failure to approve this Resolution will result in FTA's withholding of an estimated
allocation of $1,477,491 for Transit Operating funds and $159,440 for Transit
Capital projects fund for calendar year 2005.
