HomeMy WebLinkAbout10307RESOLUTION NO. 10307 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY FROM PROPERTY OWNERS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN PUEBLO, COLORADO. WHEREAS, the owners of real property identified in attachment "A" have granted easements and rights of way to the City of Pueblo, and WHEREAS, such easements and rights of way are necessary to install pedestrian facilities in accordance the American with Disabilities Act across those portions of the properties listed on attachment "A" and legally described in separate easements attached hereto as Exhibits 1 though 9, and incorporated herein by reference (hereinafter referred to as the "Easements "). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. The Easements, attached Exhibits 1 though 9, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, are hereby approved and accepted. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is directed to cause said Easements to be recorded in the office of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder forthwith. ISSUE Should the City of Pueblo approve a resolution that accepts various easements and rights of way within the City? RECOMMENDATION Approval of the Resolution BACKGROUND The attached easements and rights of way are necessary to allow for the construction of handicap ramps and sidewalk facilities meeting ADA and City of Pueblo standards at the intersection of 29` Street and Hart Road, the signalized mid -block crossing in the 1600 block of West Northern Avenue and the intersection of Surfwood Lane and Chatalet Lane. FINANCIAL IMPACT There is no financial impact upon the City due to this action.
