A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO
THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1
Due to the removal of Committee Member James Koncilja, the following individual is hereby
appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission to complete the term expiring January 1, 2007:
Kerrelvn M. Trent
SECTION 2
The following individual s are hereby appointed to the Historic Preservation Commission to serve the
4 -year term expiring January 1, 2009:
Mark R. Mihelich
Susan May Pelto

A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
ISSUE
Should City Council appoint two members to the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) to serve
the 4 -year term expiring January 1, 2009?
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of Resolution
BACKGROUND
Due to term expirations on January 1, 2005, two (2) vacancies will exist on the Historic Preservation
Commission. Incumbent Kerrelyn M. Trent has indicated she WOULD like to be considered for
reappointment and her questionnaire is attached. Ms. Trent was first appointed to this committee in
2003. Incumbent Corinne Koehler has indicated she does NOT want to be considered for
reappointment. Also, due to the removal of committee member James Koncilja, a vacancy exists with
a term expiration of January 1, 2007. (See attached letter from Chairperson Donna Alber)
Following an ad published in the Pueblo Chieftain on Sunday, December 5, 2004, seeking volunteers
to serve on this committee the following individuals submitted an application:
