A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $2,500 FROM THE CONTINGENCIES
ACCOUNT IN THE 2004 GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO THE OUT OF CYCLE REQUESTS FUND
TO ASSIST IN FUNDING A COORDINATOR'S POSITION FOR THE PUEBLO EDUCATION
CONSORTIUM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The transfer of $2,500 from the Contingencies Account in the 2004 General Fund budget to
the Out of Cycle Requests Fund is hereby approved.
SECTION 2.
Said funds shall be dispersed from the Out of Cycle Requests Fund to the Pueblo
Education Consortium (PEC) to assist in funding a Project Coordinator's position.

THE OUT OF CYCLE REQUESTS FUND TO ASSIST IN FUNDING A
COORDINATOR'S POSITION FOR THE PUEBLO EDUCATION CONSORTIUM
ISSUE
The Pueblo Education Consortium (PEC) is requesting funding from the City to
assist in funding a Project Coordinator's position. The cost for the position is
estimated to be approximately $13,000. The seven members of the Consortium
are contributing $1,000 each. The PEC is pursuing a grant in the amount of
$5,000 from the El Pomar Foundation. In order to receive the grant, the PEC is
seeking matching funds from both the City of Pueblo and the Board of County
Commissioners in the amount of $2,500.
RECOMMENDATION
None.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Funds in the amount of $2,500 will be transferred from the Contingencies
Account in the 2004 General Fund Budget (see attached spreadsheet for the
balance in the contingencies account).
