HomeMy WebLinkAbout10090RESOLUTION NO. 10090 A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $39,848 FROM THE GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2004 BUDGET TO THE PUEBLO CITY /COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ADDRESSING THE WEST NILE VIRUS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. Funds in the amount of $39,848 are hereby transferred from the General Fund Contingencies Account in the 2004 budget to the Pueblo City/County Health Department. SECTION 2. Said funds shall be used to cover expenses associated with addressing the West Nile Virus. EVETT, CITY MANAGER DAVE GALLI, DEPUTY CITY MANAGER TITLE A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING $39,848 FROM THE GENERAL FUND CONTINGENCIES ACCOUNT IN THE 2004 BUDGET TO THE PUEBLO CITY /COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH ADDRESSING THE WEST NILE VIRUS ISSUE The Pueblo City /County Health Department is requesting funding for expenses associated with addressing the West Nile Virus (please see attached correspondence from the Pueblo City /County Health Department). The Health Department is requesting a total of $79,696 with one half ($39,848) coming from the City and the other half coming from the County. RECOMMENDATION Approval of the resolution. FINANCIAL IMPACT Funds will be transferred from the General Fund Contingencies Account in the 2004 budget (see attached spreadsheet of balance remaining in account). PUEBLO CITY - COUNTY HEAL DE PARTMENT West Nile Virus Mosquito Surveillance & Spraying Proposed Budget - 2004 The following budget governs the expenditure of funds that are being requested for West Nile Virus Mosquito Spraying and Surveillance for 2004. These funds are being requested equally of one-half from the City of Pueblo and one -half from the County of Pueblo.
