HomeMy WebLinkAbout09737RESOLUTION NO. 9737 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PUEBLO REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN AS THE THREE - MILE AREA PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PUEBLO FOR PURPOSES OF ANNEXATION AS REQUIRED BY THE MUNICIPAL ANNEXATION ACT OF 1965 AND RESCINDING ALL THREE - MILE AREA PLANS HERETO FOR ADOPTED WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission is authorized to prepare and submit to the City Council for its approval a master plan for the physical development of the City, pursuant to Section 12 -5 of the Charter of Pueblo; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has approved and submitted to the City Council for approval, the Pueblo Regional Development Plan. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1 That portion of the Pueblo Regional development Plan, which generally describes the proposed location, character and extent of streets, subways, bridges, waterways, waterfronts, parkways, playgrounds, squares, "parks, aviation fields, other public ways, grounds, open spaces, public utilities, and terminals for water, light, sanitation, transportation, and power to be provided by the City and the proposed land uses for the area as identified within the Pueblo Regional Development Plan and on its attached maps within three miles of the current Pueblo Municipal Boundary, is hereby approved and adopted as the City's official Three -Mile Area Plan as required by Section 31- 12- 105(1)(e) C.R.S -for the purpose of annexation. The Three -Mile Area Plan shall be updated at least annually. SECTION 2 All Three -Mile Area Plans and all parts thereof, theretofore adopted by the City Council for the City of Pueblo, are hereby repealed and rescinded, except insofar as any physical development has been approved pursuant thereto by the City or by any of its agencies, commission, or boards.
