HomeMy WebLinkAbout09665RESOLUTION NO. 9665 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PUEBLO TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION TO GREAT OUTDOORS COLORADO TO CONSTRUCT PARK IMPROVEMENTS IN PHASE III OF THE HISTORIC ARKANSAS RIVERWALK OF PUEBLO PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME WHEREAS, the City of Pueblo agrees to submit a local government grant application to the State board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund to construct park improvements in Phase III of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo project; and WHEREAS, the City Council approved Ordinance No.6844 on May 28, 2002 establishing Phase III of HARP as a Capital Improvement Project. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1 The grant application is requesting $150,000 from the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund for the park improvements in Phase III of the HARP Project, a copy of which is on file at the City of Pueblo's Department of Planning and Community Development, is hereby approved. SECTION 2. The President of the City Council is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the grant application in the name of and on behalf of the City of Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, and the City Clerk shall affix the seal of the City thereto and attest same.
