A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN EXPENSE ACCOUNT
WITHIN THE 1992 TO 2006 SALES AND USE TAX CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT FUND ( "FUND ") FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PAYING AND /OR REIMBURSING THE CITY
FOR COSTS INCURRED RELATING TO THE JOB CREAT-
ING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS AND TRANSFER-
RING $100,000.00 FROM THE FUND TO SAID ACCOUNT
WHEREAS, the City has incurred and will incur costs and expenses relating to
approved job creating capital improvement projects including, but not limited to, litigation
expenses, environmental and engineering studies and services, and expenses related to
lease, purchase, sale and foreclosure of City's interest in land and equipment; and
WHEREAS, such costs and expenses should not be paid out of the City's general
fund but should be charged against the Fund and paid out of the Fund as expenses
reasonably necessary and required for job creating capital improvement projects. NOW,
THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that
SECTION 1
An expense account within the 1992 to 2006 Sales and Use Tax Capital
Improvement Project Fund ( "Fund ") is hereby established for the purpose of paying costs
and expenses incurred by the City relating to job creating capital improvement projects.
One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) is hereby transferred from the Fund to the
expense account hereby established. Monies on deposit in the expense account may be
expended upon approval of the City Manager.
SECTION 2
This Resolution shall become effective upon final passage.
