FRANCIS XAVIER CHURCH FOR THE USE OF THE 500 AND 600 BLOCKS OF LOGAN STREET AND THE 1700 BLOCK OF SPRUCE STREET ON SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2002 FROM 6:00 P.M. TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT AND SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2002 FROM 12:00 NOON TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT FOR THEIR ANNUAL PARISH FESTIVAL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to St. Francis Xavier Church for the use of the 500 and 600 Blocks of Logan Street and the 1700 Block of Spruce Street on June 1, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and June 2, 2002 from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight to hold their annual Church Festival. SECTION 2. The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT AND SUNDAY, JUNE 2, 2002 FROM 12:00 NOON TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT FOR THEIR ANNUAL PARISH FESTIVAL. ISSUE Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to Saint Francis Xavier Church to close the 500 and 600 Blocks of Logan Street and the 1700 Block of Spruce Street on Saturday, June 1, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and Sunday, June 2, 2002 from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight to conduct their annual festival. RECOMMENDATION The Revocable Permit Review Committee met and reviewed all data presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based upon the following findings: 1. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance coverage. 2. The applicant has agreed to clean up any debris resulting from the event. 3. The applicant has agreed to use proper barricades to close the street. BACKGROUND None FINANCIAL IMPACT None
