Dear Mr. Evett;
Abel Engineering Professionals, Inc. (AEP) on behalf of our client, Standard Sales Company,
L.P., is respectfully requesting resolution approval by City Council to allow a building permit
prior to a recorded subdivision.
The project site currently is vacant and unsubdivided on the south side within the city limits.
PEDCO Foundation is the current owner and has agreed to allow Standard Sales to subdivide
and develop the property for this project. AEP is at the beginning stages of subdividing the
parcel of land and the process may take 6 to 9 months for final approval, which then the plat can
be recorded. If Standard Sales is required to wait until the subdivision is recorded prior to
obtaining a building permit, this will delay the project unduly. Therefore, this resolution would
help Standard Sales in their effort to maintaining their schedule.
This project will increase building size, territory along with sales from the current facility that is
located at 1601 N. Erie. Attached is a fact sheet and territory map for Standard Sales.
If you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
Sincerely
Abel Engineering Professionals, Inc.
