TO 8:30 P.M. ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2001 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo Authority for the use of Victoria Avenue between Grand Avenue and D Street and Greenwood Street between First Street and Victoria Avenue to accommodate the Holiday Lighting Extravaganza on the Riverwalk. from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2001. SECTION 2. The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2001 ISSUE Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo Authority for the use of Victoria Avenue between Grand Avenue and D Street and Greenwood Street between First Street and Victoria Avenue for their Holiday Lighting Extravaganza to be held on November 23, 2001? RECOMMENDATION The Revocable Permit Review Committee met and reviewed all data presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based upon the following findings: 1. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance coverage. 2. The applicant has agreed to clean up any debris resulting from the event. 3. The applicant has agreed to use proper barricades to close the street BACKGROUND None FINANCIAL IMPACT None
