A RESOLUTION FINDING SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE
WITH COLORADO REVISED STATUTES SECTION 31 -12-
107 (1) OF THE PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF THE
AREA COMMONLY KNOWN AND DESCRIBED AS LOT 11,
PARCELS F AND G, PUEBLO MEMORIAL AIRPORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION, ALONG WITH
APPROXIMATELY 2297.42 FEET OF WILLIAM WHITE
BOULEVARD RIGHT -OF -WAY
WHEREAS, a Petition For Annexation of the area described in Section 1 hereof has been
filed with the City Clerk, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Petition For Annexation of the following described area situated in Pueblo County,
Colorado, is hereby found and determined to be in substantial compliance with the provisions of
C.R.S. §31 -12 -107 (1):
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF AREA TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PUEBLO:
A parcel of land situated in a portion of Section 25 and 26, Township 20 South, Range 64 West
of the 6 th Principal Meridian, located within Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park
Subdivision according to the recorded plat thereof, filed for record October 11, 1995, Book 2836,
Pages 665 -670, with the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a Point on the Present City Limits Line according to the recorded City Annexation
plat thereof, filed for record April 6, 1990 in Book 2492 at Page 622 with the Pueblo County
Clerk and Recorder, said point being the southeast corner of Lot 11 of the said Pueblo Memorial
Airport Industrial Park Subdivision, thence westerly along the south lot line of Lot 11, S
87 °55'59" W, a distance of 993.24 feet, to the southwest corner of Lot 11, said point also being
the southeast corner of Parcel G; thence westerly along the south lot line of Parcel G, S
87 °55'59" W, a distance of 1079.93 feet, to the southwest corner of Parcel G; thence northerly
along the west lot line of Parcel G, N O1 °57'57" W, a distance of 1194.56 feet to the northwest
corner of Parcel G, said point also being on the south right -of -way line of William White Blvd.;
thence westerly along the south right -of -way line of William White Blvd., S 88 °02'03" W, a
distance of 533.16 feet to a point, said point being the intersection of the west lot line of Parcel F,
if extended southerly to the south right -of -way line of William White Blvd.; thence N 01' 57'
57" W, a distance of 150 feet to the southwest corner of Parcel F; thence northerly along the west
lot line of Parcel F, N O1 °57'57" W, a distance of 1516.82 feet to the northwest corner of Parcel
F; thence easterly along the north lot line of Parcel F, N 88 °25'39" E, a distance of 538.25 feet to
the northeast corner of Parcel F; thence S 11 ° 20' 11" W along the east lot line of Parcel F, a
distance of 612.08 feet to the angle point on east lot line; thence S 23° 54' 58" E along the east
lot line, a distance of 989.19 feet to the southeast corner of Parcel F; thence continue S 23° 54'
58" E a distance of 13.48 to a point on the north right -of -way line of William White Blvd., said
point also being the southwest corner of Lot 23; thence easterly along north right -of -way line of
William White Blvd., N 88 °02'03" E, a distance of 1458.39 to a point, said point being on said
Present City Limit Line; thence S 01' 57' 57" E, a distance of 137.50 feet to the south right -of-
way line of William White Blvd.; thence southeasterly along the south right -of -way following a
non - tangent curve to the right whose center bears S O1 °57'57" E, having a radius of 452.50 feet
and a central angle of 56° 40' 29 ", a distance of 447.59 to a point, said point also being on the
west right -of -way of Paul Harvey Blvd.; thence southerly along the west right -of -way line of
Paul Harvey Blvd., S 01'49'46" E, a distance 987.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Said parcel contains 82.22 acres, more or less.

A public hearing to determine if the area proposed to be annexed meets the applicable
requirements of C.R.S. §31 -12 -104 and C.R.S. §31 -12 -105 to establish eligibility for annexation
under the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965 shall be held before the City Council in Council
Chambers, Second Floor, City Hall, One City Hall Place, Pueblo, Colorado on Monday,
November 12, 2001, commencing at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as City Council business
allows. The City Clerk shall publish notice of the public hearing once a week for four successive
weeks in the Pueblo Chieftain. The first publication of such notice shall be at least thirty (30)
days prior to the date of the hearing. A copy of the published notice, together with a copy of the
Petition for Annexation, shall be sent by registered mail by the City Clerk to the Board of County
Commissioners and the County Attorney of Pueblo County and to any school district or special
district having territory within the area to be annexed at least twenty five days prior to the date of
the hearing.
