A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
REVOCABLE PERMIT TO THE GREATER PUEBLO
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR THE USE OF UNION
AVENUE FROM FIRST STREET TO, AND INCLUDING,
THE UNION AVENUE BRIDGE, PUEBLO PLAZA, AND
THE 200 BLOCKS OF VICTORIA AND GRAND AVENUE
SEPTEMBER 21, 22, 23 AND 24, 2001 TO HOLD THE
ANNUAL CHILE AND FRIJOLE FESTIVAL
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
A Revocable Permit be issued to the Greater Pueblo Chamber of
Commerce for the use of Union Avenue from First Street to, and including, the Union
Avenue Bridge, Pueblo Plaza, and the 200 Blocks of Victoria and Grand Avenue from
9:00 a.m., September 21, 2001 to 1:00 p.m., September 24, 2001 to hold the annual
Chile and Frijole Festival.
SECTION 2.
The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City
Council at anytime hereafter, without notice.

AVENUE BRIDGE, PUEBLO PLAZA, AND THE 200 BLOCKS OF VICTORIA
AND GRAND AVENUE
ISSUE
Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to the Greater Pueblo Chamber of
Commerce for the use of Union Avenue from First Street to, and including, the
Union Avenue Bridge, Pueblo Plaza, and the 200 Blocks of Victoria and Grand
Avenue to hold the Chile and Frijole Festival September 21 -24, 2001.
RECOMMENDATION
The Revocable Permit Review Committee met and reviewed all data presented.
The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based
upon the following findings:
1. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance
coverage.
2. The applicant has agreed to clean up any debris resulting from the event.
3. The applicant has agreed to use proper barricades to close the street.
