HomeMy WebLinkAbout09325RESOLUTION NO. 9325 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO PHANTOM ENTERTAINMENT LLC FOR THE CLOSURE AND USE OF ONE TRAFFIC LANE ON GRAND AVENUE FROM THE CORNER OF MAIN STREET AND GRAND AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY ONE - HUNDRED YARDS EAST ON GRAND AVENUE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING A MUSICAL CONCERT FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 11:00 P.M. ON JULY 8, 2001 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to Phantom Entertainment LLC for the closure and use of one traffic lane on Grand Avenue from the corner of Main Street and Grand Avenue, approximately one - hundred (100) yards east on Grand Avenue for the purpose of conducting a musical concert on July 8, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. SECTION 2. The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. EVENT - JULY 8, 2001 ISSUE Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to Phantom Entertainment LLC for the closure and use of one traffic lane on Grand Avenue from the corner of Main Street and Grand Avenue, approximately one - hundred (100) yards east on Grand Avenue, for the purpose of conducting a musical concert on July 8, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. RECOMMENDATION The Revocable Permit Review Committee met and reviewed all data presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based upon the following findings: 1. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance coverage. 2. The applicant has agreed to clean up any debris resulting from the event. 3. The applicant has agreed to use proper barricades to close the street. BACKGROUND None FINANCIAL IMPACT None
