A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE REORGANIZATION
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, CREATING THE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER FOR FISCAL
OPERATIONS AND ABOLISHING THE POSITION OF
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER/FINANCE.
WHEREAS, the needs of the City of Pueblo and the Finance Department are best served
by placing an Assistant City Manager for Fiscal Operations in line authority over the Finance
and Purchasing Departments, while in accordance with the Charter of the City of Pueblo,
separating these two departments, and
WHEREAS, this can be accomplished without adding additional positions,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The Department of Finance budget be amended to eliminate the current position of
Assistant City Manager /Finance and add the new position of Assistant City Manager for Fiscal
Operations.
