HomeMy WebLinkAbout09272RESOLUTION NO. 9272 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO THE PUEBLO CRIMESTOPPERS FOR THE USE OF THE 100 BLOCK OF WEST B STREET FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING THE ANNUAL B STREET BASH FROM 5:00 P.M. FRIDAY TO 1:00 A.M. SATURDAY ON JUNE 1, JUNE 8, JUNE 15, JUNE 22 AND JUNE 29, 2001. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to The Pueblo Crimestoppers for the use of the 100 Block of West B Street from 5:00 p.m. Friday to 1:00 a.m. Saturday to conduct the annual `B Street Bash ", a street parry featuring music, dancing and refreshments. The event will be held five Fridays: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 22 and June 29, 2001 SECTION 2. 'Me Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. The dates of the event will be held five Fridays: June 1, June 8, June 15, June 22 and June 29, 2001. RECOMMENDATION The Revocable Permit Review Committee has met and reviewed all data presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based upon the following findings: 1. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance coverage. 2. The applicant has agreed to cleanup any debris resulting from the event. 3. The applicant has agreed to use proper barricades to close the street. BACKGROUND None FINANCIAL IMPACT None
