A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF LAND
TO COLORADO BLUESKY ENTERPRISES, INC. AND
AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL TO
EXECUTE THE QUIT CLAIM DEED RELATING
THERETO
WHEREAS, Pueblo County has heretofore transferred certain property located within the
City of Pueblo, County of Pueblo and State of Colorado to the City of Pueblo ( "City ") for use in its
housing programs, including property described as:
Lot 13, Block 8, Fearnowville
hereinafter referred to as the "Property;" and
WHEREAS, Colorado Bluesky Enterprises, Inc. ( "Bluesky ") has submitted a proposal to the
City to construct a group home upon the Property to serve its disabled clientele; and
WHEREAS, the Property is surplus to the City's needs and the proposal by Bluesky will
serve a public housing need identified in City's Consolidated Plan and is in the bests interest of the
City; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1.
The conveyance of the Property by quit claim deed to Colorado Bluesky Enterprises, Inc. is
hereby authorized and approved.
SECTION 2.
The Quit Claim Deed attached hereto, having been approved as to form by the City Attorney,
is hereby approved. The President of City Council is authorized to execute and deliver the Quit
Claim Deed on behalf of the City and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to affix the seal of the
City thereto and attest same.

ISSUE
The transfer of certain property located in the City of Pueblo for use in its housing
programs, described as Lot 13, Block 8, Fearnowville, to Colorado Bluesky Enterprises,
Inc.
RECOMMENDATION
The Department recommends that the City Council approve the transfer of this property.
BACKGROUND
Colorado Bluesky Enterprises, Inc. requested one of the City's vacant lots under the
Vacant Lot Recycle Program. Colorado Bluesky intends to build a group home to serve
its disabled consumers. The Agency received a HUD 811 grant to develop the property.
No additional funds have been requested from the City for the development of this
project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
The cost to the City for processing vacant lots is between $4,000 - $8,000.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, made this 9th day of APRIL , 2001 between City of Pueblo,
a Municipal Corporation, of the first part, and Colorado Bluesky Enterprises, Inc. of the second part,
WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of
Ten Dollars ($10.00) to the said party of the first part in hand paid by the said party of the second
part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged, hath remised, released, sold,
conveyed and QUIT CLAIMED, and by these presents doth remise, release, sell, convey and QUIT
CLAIM unto the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns forever, all of the right, title,
interest, claim and demand which the said party of the first part hath in and to the following
described real property situate, lying and being in the County of Pueblo and State of Colorado, to
wit:
Lot 13, Block 8, Fearnowville
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same, together with all and singular the appurtenances and
privileges thereunto belonging, or in anywise thereunto appertaining, and all the estate, right, title,
interest and claim whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, either in law or equity, to the only
proper use, benefit and behoof of said part of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. Grantee
takes said right, title and interest of said party of the first part subject to all liens, encroachments,
leases and environmental conditions, including both those of record and those not of record.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The said party of the first part hath caused its corporate name to
be hereunto subscribed by the President of the City Council of Pueblo, and its corporate seal to be
