A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FROM THE BOARD OF
WATER WORKS OF PUEBLO, COLORADO AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE
BOARD OF WATER WORKS OF THE CITY OF PUEBLO
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The Quit Claim Deed dated June 20, 2000 and recorded September 29, 2000 as Instrument
No. 1352169 in the records of the Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder, a copy of which is attached
hereto, is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2
The Quit Claim Deed dated October 23, 2000 conveying real property to the Board of Water
Works of Pueblo, Colorado, a copy of which is attached hereto, having been approved as to form by
the City Attorney, is hereby approved. The President of the City Council is authorized to execute
and deliver the Quit Claim Deed in the name of the City and the City Clerk is directed to affix the seal
of the City thereto and attest same.

On February 14, 2000 the City conveyed land to the Board of Water Works by Quit Claim
Deed which contained an erroneous legal description. In order to correct the conveyance, the Board
of Water Works has reconveyed title to the City and the City will convey the land to the Board of
Water Works using the correct legal description.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THIS DEED, Made this 20th day of June , 2000, between
PUEBLO, a municipal corporation, for the use and benefit of the Board of Water Works
of Pueblo, Colorado, pursuant to Article 15 of the Charter, Grantor, and PUEBLO, a
municipal corporation, whose legal address is Pueblo, Colorado of the County of Pueblo
and State of Colorado, Grantee.
WITNESSETH, That the Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN
DOLLARS ($10.00), and other good and valuable consideration, to the said Grantor in
hand paid by the said Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and
acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, and conveyed and by these presents does
grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns
forever, all of the real property, together with improvements, if any, situate, lying and
being in the County of Pueblo and State of Colorado, described as follows:
See Exhibit A attached.
TOGETHER with all and singular the heriditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging, or in anywise appertaining, and the reversion or reversions,
remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, claim
and demand whatsoever of the Grantor, either in law or equity, of, in and to the above
bargained premises, with the heriditaments and appurtenances.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises above bargained and described,
with the appurtenances, unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Grantor has executed this deed on the date set
forth above.

A parcel of land in the Northeast 1 /a of the Northeast '/a of Section 34 and in the
Northwest 1 /a of the Northwest '/a of Section 35, Township 21 South, Range 65 West of
the 6 th P.M. and being more particularly described as follows:
Considering the East line of the Northeast 1 /a of Section 34, Township 21 South, Range
65 West of the 6 th P.M. to bear N. 00 0 11'29" W. and all bearings contained herein being
relative thereto.

RESOLUTION NO. 8916
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A QUIT CLAIM DEED AND
EASEMENTS BETWEEN PUEBLO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORA-
TION AND PUEBLO, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION FOR THE
USE AND BENEFIT OF THE BOARD OF WATER WORKS OF
PUEBLO, COLORADO, AND AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT
OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO EXECUTE SAME
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Board of Water Works of Pueblo, Colorado ( "Board ")
construction of its new treatment plant and pipeline, the Board has requested the City to convey title
to certain property that lies on the southerly border of its northside treatment plant and easements
for pipeline to serve the new treatment plant, and
WHEREAS, the land to be conveyed to the Board is surplus to the City's needs, and
WHEREAS, granting the Request of the Board would be in the interest of the City and its
citizens; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that:
SECTION 1
The following instruments, copies of which are attached hereto, having been approved as to
form by the City Attorney, are hereby approved.
(a) Quit Claim Deed dated February 14, 2000 between Pueblo, a municipal corporation,
Grantor, and Pueblo, a municipal corporation, for the use and benefit of the Board of Water Works
of Pueblo, Colorado, Grantee.
(b) Two Easements dated February 14, 2000 between Pueblo, a municipal corporation,
Grantor, and Pueblo, a municipal corporation, for the use and benefit of the Board of Water Works
of Pueblo, Colorado, Grantee.
SECTION 2
The President of the City Council is authorized to execute and deliver the Quit Claim Deed
