A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING
OWNERS IN BLOCK 125,
SUBDIVISION, 2 ND FILING
SUBDIVISION
WARRANTY DEEDS FROM
EAST PUEBLO HEIGHTS
& HEATHERWOOD COURT
WHEREAS, the owners of real property identified in attachment "A" have granted warranty
deeds to the City of Pueblo; and
WHEREAS, such deeds are necessary to rededicate a vacated alley across those portions
of the properties listed on attachment "A" and legally described in separate deeds attached hereto
as Exhibits 1 through 12, and incorporated herein by reference (hereinafter referred to as the
"Deeds ")
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:
Section 1
The Deeds granted by Exhibits 1 through 12, copies of which are attached hereto, having
been approved as to form by the City Attorney, are hereby approved and accepted.
Section 2
The City Clerk is directed to cause said deeds to be recorded in the office of the Pueblo
County Clerk and Recorder forthwith.

ISSUE
Should the City Council accept Warranty deeds from owners in Block 125, East Pueblo Heights
Subdivision, 2 "d Filing and Heatherwood Court Subdivision for the purpose of rededicating a vacated alley
right of way with an existing sanitary sewer.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution
BACKGROUND
These warranty deeds are necessary to reopen a vacated alley in Block 125, East Pueblo Heights
Subdivision, 2 nd Filing and Heatherwood Court Subdivision so that the City may be able to have access
to the existing sanitary sewer as well as the home owners having access to their back yards.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
By accepting these warranty deeds the City's Public Works Department will take over the responsibility
for alley maintenance, the cost of which is estimated to be less than $500.00 per year.
