A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF EASEMENTS
AND RIGHTS OF WAY FROM OWNERS OF REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE 500 AND 600 BLOCK OF CHERRY LN., WITHIN
PUEBLO, COLORADO
WHEREAS, the owners of real property identified in attachment "A" have granted
easements and rights of way to the City of Pueblo; and
WHEREAS, such easements and rights of way are necessary to install a pedestrian
sidewalk and relocate utilities across those portions of the properties listed on attachment "A" and
legally described in separate easements attached hereto as Exhibits 1 through 7, and incorporated
herein by reference (hereinafter referred to as the "Easements ").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO,
that:
Section 1
The Easements granted by exhibits 1 through 7, copies of which are attached hereto,
having been approved as to form by the City Attorney, are hereby approved and accepted.
Section 2
The City Clerk is directed to cause said Easements to be recorded in the office of the
Pueblo County Clerk and Recorder forthwith.

ISSUE
Should the City Council accept easements and rights of way from owners on the 500 and 600 block of
Cherry Ln. for the purpose of providing additional right of way for a pedestrian sidewalk and relocating
utilities.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution
BACKGROUND
These easements and rights of way are necessary to allow for the construction of a 4' wide pedestrian
sidewalk and relocating utilities. The sidewalk construction was initiated from a CDBG request. Attached
is a summary sheet of the addresses to be accepted for the easement and right -of way.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact upon the City due to this action.
