HomeMy WebLinkAbout08994RESOLUTION NO. 8994 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO THE MEDAL OF HONOR CONVENTION DELEGATION COMMITTEE FOR THE USE OF MAIN STREET BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND RICHMOND STREET ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2000 FROM 8:30 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. FOR THE UNVEILING OF THE MEDAL OF HONOR MEMORIAL TO BE LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE PUEBLO CONVENTION CENTER BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to the Medal of Honor Convention Delegation Committee to for the use of Main Street between First Street and Richmond Street on Thursday, September 21, 2000 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the unveiling of the Medal of Honor Memorial to be located at the southwest corner of the Pueblo Convention Center. SECTION 2. The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. Summary A. Issue Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to the Medal of Honor Convention Delegation Committee for the use of Main Street between First Street and Richmond Street for the purpose of unveiling the Medal of Honor Memorial on Thursday, September 21, 2000, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. B. Recommendation The Revocable Permit Review Committee met and reviewed all ata presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request based upon the following findings. II.
