HomeMy WebLinkAbout8783RESOLUTION NO. 8783 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REVOCABLE PERMIT TO THE PUEBLO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR THE USE OF UNION AVENUE BETWEEN GRAND AVENUE AND FIRST STREET INCLUDING PUEBLO PLAZA 200 BLOCK OF NORTH VICTORIA AND THE PARKING LOTS BETWEEN UNION AVENUE AND MAIN STREET ALONG RICHMOND AVENUE SEPTEMBER 24, 25 AND 26, 1999 TO HOLD THE FIFTH ANNUAL CHILE AND FRIJOLE FESTIVAL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO that: SECTION 1. A Revocable Permit be issued to the Pueblo Chamber of Commerce for the use of Union Avenue between Grand Avenue and First Street including Pueblo Plaza 200 Block of North Victoria and the parking lots between Union Avenue and Main Street along Richmond Avenue September 24, 25 and 26, 1999 to hold the Chili and Frijole Festival, which will include a farmers market and food vendors. SECTION 2. The Revocable Permit, hereby granted, may be revoked by resolution of the City Council at anytime hereafter, without notice. SUMMARY A. Issue Should City Council issue a Revocable Permit to The Pueblo Chamber of Commerce for the use of Union Avenue between Grand Avenue and First Street including Pueblo Plaza 200 block of North Victoria and the parking lots between Union Avenue and Main Street along Richmond Avenue to hold the Chile, and Frijole Festival September 24, 25, and 26, 1999. B. Recommendation The Revocable Permit Review Committee has met and reviewed all data presented. The Committee recommends that the City Council approve the request, based upon the following findings: II. FINDINGS A. The applicant has provided the required general public liability insurance coverage. B. The applicant has agreed to clean up any debris resulting from the event. C.
