A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEED FROM JOSEPH O. WATSON, III FOR
ROADWAY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, JOSEPH O. WATSON, III, on October 21, 1998 granted a 60'
R.O.W. to the City of Pueblo; and
WHEREAS, such R.O.W. is necessary for Kachina Drive to connect to Baltimore
Avenue, and has been approved as to form by the City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO,
COLORADO, that:
SECTION 1.
The 60' R.O.W. granted by Joseph O. Watson, III, dated October 21, 1998, a
copy of which is attached hereto, after having been approved as to form by the City
Attorney, is hereby approved and accepted.

The City Clerk is directed to record said deed in the office of the Pueblo County
Clerk and Recorder.

ISSUE
Should City Council accept a 60' R.O.W. for an extension of Kachina Drive to connect to Baltimore
Avenue through Warehouses, Inc. Subdivision from Joseph O. Watson, III.
RECOMMENDATION
Approval of this Resolution
BACKGROUND
Joseph O. Watson III has agreed to provide a deed to the City for the extension of Kachina Drive thru
property he owns in Warehouses, Inc. Subdivision. This will allow Kachina Drive to be extended to
Baltimore Avenue. The construction of the roadway upon the property being deeded by Mr. Watson
and the property that the Colorado Department of Transportation owns will be by the developer of
Spradley Subdivision. A vicinity map is attached for information.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
There is no financial impact upon the City due to this action.
