A RESOLUTION REMOVING CERTAIN CONDEMNATION HEARINGS FROM THE CITY COUNCIL AGENDA AND VACATING HEARINGS RELATING THERETO WHEREAS, the City Attorney has advised the City Council that procedural deficiencies, a including inadequate Notices, exist with respect to certain Condemnation Hearings scheduled before the City Council, and WHEREAS, the City Attorney has requested that such Condemnation Hearings be removed from the City Council's agenda and the hearings thereon vacated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, that: SECTION 1 The following Condemnation Hearings scheduled for August 13, 1998 with respect to property located within the City of Pueblo are hereby removed from the City Council's agenda and all hearings relating thereto vacated without prejudice to the City or the right of the City to institute any new or additional proceedings or to take any other action with respect to the property or owner thereof authorized by law or the Ordinances of the City: Condemnation Hearing No. 98 -9 98 -10 98 -11 Property Address 904 East 5th Street 821 East 2nd Street 902 West 13th Street SECTION 2 The City Attorney, City administration and Regional Building Department are hereby directed to review the methods and procedures utilized by the City to rehabilitate and/or remove substandard or unsafe structures and submit their written recommendations with respect thereto within sixty days.
