HomeMy WebLinkAbout7772RESOLUTION NO. 7772 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE CORNER OF CENTRAL MAIN STREET AND ELIZABETH STREET FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE HISTORIC ARKANSAS RIVERWALK PROJECT WHEREAS, the acquisition of the property located at the corner of Central Main Street and Elizabeth Street is necessary for the redirection of Elizabeth Street in conjunction with the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Pueblo City Council to acquire said property for this purpose: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PUEBLO, COLORADO, THAT: SECTION 1 The acquisition of the property located at the corner of Central Main Street and Elizabeth Street, more commonly known as; All the real property owned by Seller in Block 4, Central Pueblo, including without limitation: Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the Southwesterly 5 -1/2 feet of Lot 7, Block 4, Central Pueblo, is hereby approved. SECTION 2 Funds in the amount of $250,000 will be disbursed from proceeds from the sale of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk Project Bonds in the year 1996. Trapp aka John Trapp, herein referred to as the "Assignor ", and Pueblo, a Municipal Corporation, herein referred to as "Assignee ".
